This was a Valentine's Day dinner for us and a place that I have been to many times as a child before it switched owners. I held it to a higher standard with all the great experiences I had in the past and boy was I excited to show off the food. If it's your first time here, you'll be in for a great surprise when you walk through the doors. The place fits both large and small groups and is a great place for date night. The staff is very polite and friendly and seemed to really know their stuff; if they didn't they were honest about it and went to get an answer they were sure of instead of making something up. Unfortunately, they ran out of the dish we wanted and ended up taking much longer than expected for our food to arrive.
⭐East Cost Oysters - 6pcs ($26)⭐
Oysters are sometimes a hit-and-miss, depending on how fresh it is, but usually, these kinds of restaurants have pretty fresh seafood. When the dish came, it honestly looked kind of sad. They probably used the 12 oyster plate for 6 which made it look that way. Looks aside, they were some of the best oysters I've had in a long time. It was very fresh, and they were a decent size; unlike some restaurants that have tiny oysters.

Cowboy Steak - 46oz ($195)
We originally wanted the T-Bone but they ran out so we decided to get this one instead, being told that they were roughly the same thing. Usually, it comes in 1 big cast iron, but ours arrived in 2 because of a shortage of large pans due to Valentine's Day. One plate came with all the sides and the other just the steak. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare but unfortunately, we found it a bit underseasoned, bland even.
The vegetables, however, were the opposite; each one packed so much flavor in each bit despite being just a single vegetable per bite. The mashed potatoes were the best of the bunch, hard to explain but they were delicious. This side of the main dish was very fresh and cooked to perfection.
Ek-Mek ($18)
We ordered this not knowing what it was. There was no description of the food when we ordered it but the waiter said it was his favorite dessert on the menu. We then found out what this dessert really was. The waiter explained it as layers of katife, infused with honey and topped with coconut-infused cream. This was a new dessert neither of us have tried in the past and we didn't think a mystery dessert would have been such a winner.
